Tuesdays @ 2: Rocks vs. Minerals at the Missouri State Capitol

by Mid-Mo Kids Guide

Explore Missouri’s cultural and natural resources through a special interactive tour or program every Tuesday at 2 p.m. “Tuesdays @ 2” are geared to children age 6-12 years, but people of any age are welcome. Have you ever picked up a rock and wondered what is inside, or what it is made of? Minerals can be found by themselves or in rocks, but how do you tell the difference? Learn how cookies can help us tell the difference between rocks and minerals, such as granite and quartz.Missouri State Parks
