Unleash your three-dimensional creative genius using Lego bricks, markers and paper. Ages 6 and older.

Ella’s Hope for Autism Walk 9:30 a.m.
Cosmo Park, Lamb Shelter, Columbia, MO
Join the Mid-Missouri Walk for Autism presented by Ella’s Hope. Registration and t-shirt pick up as well as Kid Zone Activities will begin at 9:30 am and the walk will begin at 11:00 am. There will be a raffle for several prizes after the walk! Strollers and bikes are welcome on this 1.25 mile walk around Cosmo Park. There is no fee to walk. But if you donate $20 you will receive a t-shirt and entry into the raffle. Ask your family and friends to participate in this wonderful event that will benefit The MU Thompson Center for Autism and TouchPoint Autism Service.

Build a Terrarium at the Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project.

Home Depot Kid’s Workshop 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
This month kids can build a terrarium. There is no advance registration required. The class is designed for ages 5 – 12. In addition to the craft, children receive a free commemorative pin, apron, and certificate of completion. Cost: Free

In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Rainbow House will be hosting a spring fair on Saturday, April 28, 2012! There will be games, prizes, face painting, pizza, live music, a cupcake walk, a bouncy house, crafts and more!

A family-friendly event to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Bring your best canine friends and join us for a fun-filled day that begins with a walk around Stephens Lake and continues with demonstrations, booths and games.

Participate in breaking a World Record at Andy’s Frozen Custard in Columbia on April 28, 2012. Andy’s is looking to break the ice cream world record! Join Andy’s in Columbia all day for their summer kick off on April 28th for FREE custard as we work to break the record for the most people standing in a chain licking custard. There will be a car show, music, radio stations and hula-hoopers. The event will be a fundrasier for the University of Missouri Children’s Hospital.
