Mizzou will hold their 2013 Black & Gold Football Game on Saturday, April 20, 2013.  Strollers are allowed into Memorial Stadium, just make sure it will fold up if you plan to bring it into the seating area.

Truman the TigerAdmission to the game is $3 (cash only!) or 3 cans of food to benefit the Food Bank of Central and North East Missouri.

  • All parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • All lots will be open to the general public, with the exception of Lot S. Portions of Lot G and VIP Lot will be reserved for disability friendly parking. Individuals entering with a wheelchair are advised to park in Lot G, and enter through the Southwest Field Level Gate.

Scooby-Doo Live

In this exciting new show, SCOOBY-DOO and the Mystery Inc. Gang have been called upon to help solve an epic mystery. A trouble-making ghost is haunting a local theatre and Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, Velma, and SCOOBY-DOO are on their way in the MYSTERY MACHINE to help solve it!

Have you checked out the Museum of Art & Archeology at the University of Missouri? Did you know they offer some awesome classes designed for kids (ages 5+)? The museum is open Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Thursdays until 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday: Noon – 4:00 p.m. The current temporary exhibit, the Keith Crown exhibit, is especially great for kids because of the bright colors and whimsical perspective on traditional landscapes!

Get your inspiration for a paper masterpiece by looking at the Rolando Estévez and the Genius of Vigía exhibition. Then make a greeting card out of paper and decorate it in any way you choose.

Don’t miss out on the Missouri Museum of Anthropology’s Spring Cultures of the World classes! These always fill up fast so be sure to register ASAP! These classes are designed for children in grades 1 – 5 (ages 6-11). Classes include presentations on artifacts and cultures. Activities include music, games, craft projects, and traditional folktales from the regions.Mizzou Anthropology

Mizzou Gymnastics Pink Out 2013

Mizzou Gymnastics Pink Out versus Alabama is January 11, 2013. One dollar from every ticket sold with be donated to Ellis Fischel for breast cancer research and FREE t-shirts will be given to the first 500 fans.  Tickets: $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Update: There will be a kid’s carnival in the field house prior to the meet! Come get a balloon figure and bounce around in the bounce house before watching the Tigers take on two-time defending National Champion Alabama!

Car Seat Safety Check: November 10, 2012

Safe Kids Columbia will host its last children’s car seat check-up event of the year from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Women’s and Children’s Hospital parking lot.
