Bring your kites and let’s have a great time! This is a great chance for parents to fly kites with your children and family just like the good ole days! A number of kites will be given to children that do not have one to fly. Contest categories are Largest Flying Kite, Smallest Flying Kite & the Highest Flyer. Prizes will be awarded to winners.

Events include a casting challenge, archery challenge, life jacket challenge, sleeping bag challenge, and knot tying challenge. Complete all challenges and spin the prize wheel to win a prize! There will also be crafts from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. on both days.

Michael’s will be hosting a make-it take-it event on Sunday, April 22, 2012. Each child will be able to have some fun with body paint! Ages 3 and up, while supplies last.

Mid-Missouri will be able to see one of the most beloved Broadway musicals, Oliver! the musical adaptation of Dickens’ 1838 novel. Your family can join Oliver Twist on his journey through the streets of Victorian-era London.
