Trucks and other vehicles of all shapes and sizes will be on display for you to admire, wander around, climb on, and sit in. Access the Rainbow Parking Lot through main entrance of Cosmo Park.  This event is free and held in rain or shine. The event typically includes firetrucks, dump trucks, wreckers, and much more!

2012 BYOBW “Track or Treat” 9-10:30 a.m.

Riders can bring their fanciest Big Wheel, tricycle, or other pedal powered vehicle and cruise the ARC Track! Halloween props will be set up for an exciting haunted ride and great photo ops for parents! Tons of prizes and awards will be given to all riders and mileage will be recorded. All equipment must be clean and approved by event staff before entering the track surface.  Absolutely no bicycles! Track is closed to walkers/joggers during event. The Mizzou Alumni Association’s new game day tradition: Tiger Landing!  Three hours before kickoff the Reynolds Alumni Center will offer lots of family-friendly activities. Admission is free to the building and to the Kids’ Zone that will offer inflatable games (bounce house!) on the Quadrangle.  You can also check out tours of campus and  the botanical garden. Inside will feature a big-screen television with football games + food (including Buck’s Ice Cream!), drink (& cash bar) available for purchase.

his delightful children’s play, is based on the Grimm tale of the fisherman, his wife, and a magic fish that grants them three wishes.The running time for this show is approximately 45 minutes. This is a wonderful play for ages 3 and up.

Expect to get your feet wet!  Arrive anytime between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.  Reservations are not required.  The tours are recommended for ages 5 and up.

Russellville ATV Rodeo 5 p.m.
Russellville Lions Club
Ten classes for riders in three categories: Youth, Intermediate (including a Powder Puff Class) and Modifieds.  Races include Polebending, Cloverleaf and Keyhole patterns. Trophies and Medals awarded in Youth Classes.

The Columbia Parks and Recreation will  last “Movies in the Park” for 2012 will take place August 10th!  Bring a blanket & pillow and get comfortable!  You’ll be able to enjoy Dr. Suess’ the Lorax (PG) on the large, inflatable screen.  Be sure to arrive early to snag a prime spot… and don’t forget the bug spray! Concessions are available. There is no rain date.
