The first Saturday of each month, Home Depot offers a free Kid’s Workshop where children can gain hands-on experience using tools to build a wooden project. In addition to the craft, children receive a free apron, pin, and certificate of completion.

The next Workshop is August 4, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Kids can build their very own cork bulletin board! The Home Depot has teamed up with the EPA’s Energy Star & Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax movie. Each workshop kids will receive Lorax sticker sheets, Lorax create-your-own mustache kids, and Lorax activity sheets.
There is no advance registration required. The class is designed for ages 5 – 12.
