Youth Basketball Camps
Location: Armory Sports Center, Columbia
Dates: Various Sundays April – August
Cost: $5
Description: This instructional mini-camp is for those that are looking for tips to become a smarter, more team-oriented player. Camps are year-round, so you can keep your skills sharp in the off-season. Pre-register and pay as far in advance as you would like to ensure you have a spot. Camp is available to boys and girls. Youth Sports Day Camp
Location: Ellis-Porter/Riverside Park, Jefferson City
Dates: May 28-31, June 3-7, June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28, July 1-3, July 8-12, July 15-19, July 22-26, July 29-August 3
Cost: $52.50 – $77.50
Description: Youth Sports Day Camp is for kids entering grades 1-6 in the fall. Camp meets from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Campers will have the opportunity to play a variety of recreational games and sports as well as learn about nutrition (information provided by the Cole County Health Department). This is not a skills camp.
Junior Golf Camp
Dates: June 3-7, June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28, July 8-12, July 15-19
Cost: $70.00
Description: An introductory program for beginning golfers (boys and girls) 8-14 years of age. Camp will be held Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hills Golf Center. Instruction will include basic swing fundamentals (grip, aim & setup) putting, chipping, and bunker play. During the golf camp, participants will play golf everyday and be given a 30 minute presentation dealing with the rules of golf and proper etiquette. Clubs will be available on a first-come,-first-serve basis.
Competitive Golf Clinic
Dates: June 17-21, July 8-12, July 15-19
Cost: $70.00
Description: The Competitive Golf Clinic is intended for junior golfers between the ages of 12 and 15 interested in taking their game to the next level. The clinic will consist of one hour of instruction followed by two hours of on-course experience daily, with a nine hole tournament on the final day of the clinic.
UCM Mules Basketball Camps
Location: Warrensburg, Missouri
Description: Individual, team and day camps offered. Individual camp is open to kids entering grades 3-12. Day camp is for kids entering grades 1-8. See website for details.
